the maiden issue of art in site magazine launched the covers project; inviting filipino artists to design an artwork that would be used as one of the magazine's covers. lizza submitted an artwork called "sketch first" which pays homage to the importance of sketching one's concepts over and over again. the artwork includes scans of the original sketches lizza drew when she created the typeface named "martina".
